ESET Receives 70th VB100 Award
ESET today announced that it has been awarded the prestigious "VB100" award from Virus Bulletin, the UK's independent testing antivirus authority. The latest award is ESET's 70th, adding to its long track record of great results in this test. ESET NOD32 Antivirus holds the world record for VB100 Award wins among all security solution vendors.
Virus Bulletin praised ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4 in its official evaluation stating "still maintaining an epic streak of passes. The interface remains attractive and pleasant to use, with good clarity in the main areas and a great level of fine-tuning under the covers. Operation was smooth and stable throughout testing, with no surprises or issues to report."
"We are proud that the ESET NOD32 antivirus technology has earned more consecutive Virus Bulletin VB100 awards than any other antivirus solution," said Jan Vrabec, security technology analyst for ESET. "Thanks to our talented team of developers and malware researchers, ESET NOD32 has never missed an "In-the-Wild" worm or virus since Virus Bulletin started testing back in May 1998."
ESET released the new fifth generation of its flagship products ESET Smart Security 5 and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 5 in September.
